Jumping on the Mizzou Bandwagon (Update)

For the first time in my life, the University of Missouri football team is in contention for the national championship. While I do not follow college football at all and I think that the Bowl Championship Series (BCS) ranking system is seriously flawed, that will not stop me from displaying some provincial pride. Go Mizzou!

Update (11/25/07): Previously undefeated Kansas fell to Mizzou last night by a score of 36-28.  That could put the Tigers first in the BCS rankings.  They will be assured of an appearance in the BCS title game if they can avenge their only defeat of the season by beating Oklahoma in the Big 12 championship game next week.
